The QBB-95 is the light support weapon of the QBZ-95 family. Accurate over 600 metres, firing from a 75-round drum, it is intended to be a companion to the QBZ-95 assault rifle, as both share very similar components.

The QBU-88, often called the Type 88, was designed to support infantry and fire at ranges outside those of regular rifles. It is semi-automatic, offering a high rate of fire and good accuracy over medium ranges.

The Snaiperskaya Vintovka (Sniper Rifle) model 1998 (SV-98) is a bolt-action sniper rifle intended for long range, high accuracy fire. It is considerably more accurate and powerful than the QBU-88, and is equipped with a more powerful 7x telescope sight.

Developer Note
Currently the SV98 is using the L96 geometry (model). This will be corrected in a future release.

The Norinco 982 is a Chinese clone of the Remington 870 12 gauge pump-action shotgun. Effective at close ranges but almost useless at ranges beyond 50 meters, it should be used in close fighting for maximum effectiveness.

Heavy Weapons

PF-89

The PF-89 is the new generation standard light anti-tank weapon (LAW) in service with the PLA to replace the obsolete Soviet-style 40mm LAW. The PF-89 is a recoilless rifle used primarily by infantry squads for engagement and defeat of light armor and bunkers.

SA-7 GRAIL

The SA-7 is shoulder-fired, man-portable air-defence system (MANPADS), capable of guided surface-to-air missile (SAM) fire. It is used to eliminate various airborne targets, although helicopter engagements are most common due to their slow movement compared to jets.

Eryx

The Eryx is a SACLOS-based ATGM used by forward anti-tank infantry. It is made up of the sighting/firing system and the missile launcher tube, the latter of which can be discarded and replaced by another after firing. The missile itself is wire-guided and can be easily directed towards targets by simply keeping the sight's crosshair fixated on the intended target.
